I was just sent some new pics that was found on Taobao and although I'm not certain they are real, they do look to be legit. I will look for more info so check back.

10 shot Dart Tag gun.

Sonic Barricade

Bumblebee Barricade to match the Optimus Prime Barricade
The Dart Tag gun slightly resembles this minimized Swarmfire I was going to attempt to make.

If it wasn't for that awful resolution, I'd be more led to believe that they're legit... but I'd rather not get my hopes up right now. I think I'm doubting the Barricade Transformers repaint the most because there's already a Transformers repaint for the Barricade (even though it was an exclusive blaster). And since they all look to be from the same source, that kinda diminishes any credibility I feel they would have. But who knows! Folks thought the early pictures of the Stampede were fake too!
ReplyDeletethat swarmfire 10 seems hard to belive, but I'd buy one if it had semi auto fire
ReplyDeleteI really hope the mini swarmfire is real
ReplyDeleteWhy is the trigger of the DTB blue?
ReplyDeletethat mini swarm fire looks sketch as hell, but I DO want it.
ReplyDeletemini swarm-fire in holster, stampede on main, and reg swarm-fire strapped to my back as a second primary.
I like it. I really do want it to be real.
Doubt it tho :(

The sonic barricade would not surprise me. Remember, the vulcan was late to the party when it came to the clear series guns. I think this is the same situation. The transformers barricade, I doubt, but you never know. The only thing I don't like about the swarmfire-pistol is the trigger. Why is it blue? When was the last time a nerf blaster did NOT have an orange trigger? I dunno guys.
ReplyDeletemini swarmfire-please please please please. sonic barricade- I really would not be surprised. transformers barricade- no Portal
ReplyDeleteI see no reason to assume the Swarmfire-esque blaster isn't real. This tends to happen every time something unexpected is shown in a photo: the Stampede, the Swarmfire itself, even when its in the hands of the community, like when Pocket got his hands on the Whiteout Maverick early, people call BS, and it always turns out to be true.
ReplyDeletePlus it presents a pattern extension to the Dart Tag family, bringing back the 10-round blaster to replace the Furyfire, which in turn replaced the Hyperfire before that.
Probably not going to get it myself, however. Since its functionality would be a little too similar to the Barricade. It would be an interesting addition to official Dart Tag, though. Wonder if anyone would adopt it...
I'd like to point out the "Not for sale" engraved near the mini-swarm's trigger.....prototype?!
ReplyDeleteIt says NOT FOR SALE on the DTBs handle. Wonder why... I still think they are real though.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice the "not for sale" on the 10 Shot mini Swarm?
ReplyDeleteJust in case anyone is wondering, they are actual blasters. I shared the images with pSyK, but didn't realize it'll appear here. Anyways, will be posting reviews on them soon. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry, Didn't know they was not for sharing. I can take them down if you like
ReplyDeleteNo worries, i'll be posting up info on them soon too. :)
ReplyDeleteNext transformer barricade should be a barricade painted barricade :P
ReplyDeleteBumbleBee Barricade? What's next? An Ironhide Barricade
ReplyDeleteThe dart tag blaster I think, with mods, would be an awesome back-up weapon!
ReplyDeleteThe barricades are cool!
ReplyDeletei think the mini swarmfire is legit. the bumblebee barricade seemed to be far fetched, yet it was announced days later.
