Other than the paintjob, this is exactly one of the things I wanted to see from Nerf. This is a hammer-action six shot revolver. The overall design of this thing is just plain cool. One thing to remember is that we have been told that the Rebelle line will have equivalent ranges to the N-Strike Elite line. I have a hard time believing that is true for this blaster, since it probably has a firing system somewhat like the Snapfire, given the limited shell space and prime length. Needless to say, I hope this thing does get Elite ranges.
nerf for gurls? lololol perfect valentine day gift
ReplyDeleteIf it has a plunger system hidden away in there similar to the Triad, I could see it possibly getting that kind of range.
ReplyDeleteExcept that the snapfire is fully capable of elite ranges...
ReplyDeleteExactly; this could have the same system, but on max power, since it's not your trigger finger priming it every shot.
DeleteAm I the only one excited to see that nerf is including a holster with this? I dont rember any other blaster offering this!
ReplyDeleteHoly Snapfire, Batman!
ReplyDeleteI could conceivably dual-wield hammer-action pistols, so I wonder if people will notic if I go out buying a Nerf gun in purple... :/
Vinyl dye it blue. Problem solved
Deletedual wield hammer action? hammer time?
DeleteVery excited about this one. It look amazing.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo!
ReplyDeleteYeah so, aside for the paintjob, this thing looks freakin cool!
I look forward to seeign the innards...

Thanks for pointing out the discrepancies in the distances, FFA. I've never run across distance claims from any Hasbro source, just blogs. The only exception to that is the rep from the NY Toy Fair who claims the HBow will get 75'. It'll be interesting to see what the realistic controlled range tests produce. I'm staying optimistic. There are some nice facets to the new line (excluding than the paint).
ReplyDeletei don't mind that these new blasters have purple on them because purple is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteThis blaster only has five shots. It's hard to tell from this picture, but there are other pictures that make it more visible.
ReplyDeleteI'm Manley enough to rock this paintjob and all. this is awesome
