Out of nowhere this shows up from the Toy Fair news. All I have to say is wow.
-75ft ranges (video says 80)
-90! round capacity
- Awesome shell design
Sign me up! This is definitely worth keeping an eye on. The release date for these is projected to be in Aug-Sept of 2013.
Nice looking stock shown here
The app actually sounds really cool, it seems like it acts as a functional radar to show you positions of other people playing.
This will cost $34.99,
The smaller pistol will be $19.99
Ammo refills will be 25 for $4.99.
The app is free and available for iOS and Android.
Video and more after the jump!!!

Close up of the app and cradle as well as the really nice metallic green paint job.
Pump action!
90 rounds!
The flags for capture the flag mode. You scan the flag with the mobile device you run the app on and and it sends the info to the other player.
A close up of this new very strange ammo.
You can see another blaster from the line on the wall in the vid, enjoy!

wow ,that looks kinda painful ,especially if those rounds are made of rubber .
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo...
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I look forward to seeing some reviews... Might be fun for an indoor nerf war, I would think that ammo might get lost outdoors.
440
A LOT of comparisons to halo lol. This actually looks really promising
ReplyDeleteYeah, Halo is my favorite game series so this is going to be an interesting buy (if it ends up in AUS that is.)
DeleteI don't think this thing will pick up because people might not like the jelly ring "ammo".
ReplyDeleteWHOAH! that thing looks awesome! looks like it's got some punch too!
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing
ReplyDeleteThis looks simply amazing.
ReplyDeleteGotta love ammo variations. And the high capacity clip/magazine is incredible. I can't wait to get my hands on one
ReplyDeleteCant wait to get a few of these and have a Tek war.
ReplyDeleteAs cool as this looks, I think that I'm happy with Nerf for now but I won't jump to conclusions. I'll look at the reviews and see what they're like.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really cool, I want to see a review on this when it comes out.
ReplyDeleteid imagine it works like a rubber band gun ,and so it'd get great ranges.
ReplyDeletelooks interesting, i like the shell and look of it. not sure on the ammo... whats their website?
ReplyDeleteReally Like the Looks and just from that video I believe it shows alot of promise!
ReplyDeletei bet it shoots those little discs like rubber bands, stretching them out and letting them go. If so then they will eventually wear out and you will have to buy replacements
ReplyDeleteI hope this blaster will get to Singapore after release!
ReplyDeleteHOLY G36Cs, BATMAN!
ReplyDeleteSign me UP. This is prpbably Nerf's real ace-in-the-hole against kids that mod their darts with tacks.
Also, lovin' the shell design, and the paint job. Maybe digi-camo is up next?
This isn't nerf. -_-
DeleteIs that ammo reusable? Or is it like the Max Force blasters where the ammo is supposed to cleaned up after shooting?
ReplyDeleteReuseable!
DeleteIdk... Per a refil pack is fairly cheap compared to nerf. A 90 round clip vs your 12 or 18... Ranges are about the same. Seems like nerf may have to up its game. Though to be fair, Nerf has alwase gotten ahead of its competition. I would like to see them pressured to make somethen to top their competitors.
ReplyDeletebadass is too small a word to define this blaster cant wait to see how it fires

ReplyDeleteWe know
DeleteNice to see nerf at last may have some "actual" competition for once. is the havoc by any chance slamfire or just prime n shoot? Do they come in other colors?
