The new stuff!

Thanks to MyLastDart for his coverage on the new batch of blasters.

The Vortex line is lookin much cooler in the new colors.  The Revonix360 in on the bottom right.  I'm not sure how I feel about the flame paint job.  Notice that the Nitron is nowhere to be found.

In the official hasbro description of the Revonix360 it mentioned  multicolor discs.  If you look at the upper right corner of all these boxes you see what appears to be a disc that matches the coloring of the new paint schemes on each individual blaster.  The refill packs seem to have the same orange discs found with the pyragon and diatron.

The Blazin' Bow.  I'm a fan of the colors.  The only thing that I don't like about this is that considering that that we have been told that the N-Strike line is going to be phased out, this might be the replacement for the Big Bad Bow. Needless to say the lack of trigger won't make BBB happy if that is the case.

This looks to be something like a Nite Finder or Firestrike but instead of a light you get dart storage that makes this look crossbow like.  Notice the tac rail which might mean pink tacticool accessories are on the way.

You can also see the turret of another Rebelle blaster in the background.  The design of the turret looks very similar to the one on a Strongarm.

A close up of the revonix360.  The vertical positioning of the discs means there is something cool going on with the internals to reposition the discs so that they can be fired.  I'm really curious to see if this still uses the same kind of torsion spring as the existing vortex or if it has some new mechanism that gives it the increased range.  If you notice it doesn't have the usual bulky part of the shell that houses the torsion spring and flinger arm.

The new recolors of the vortex line each have their own distinct decoration with distinct coloring on the white shells.  As shown here the diatron had kind of a tribal tattoo look.

  3. Not a huge fan of Vortex line BUT the new colors and that new blaster on bottem right in pic looks sooooo good!!!! I may look into that new blaster. The bow on the other hand...yeah, no. The "Heartbreaker" looks better(although prolly will repaint all the pink) and looks to be more "funtional" or practical. "S"

    1. I like looks of the Blazer better, to me, the Heartbreaker's shape looks too generic.

  4. I WAS SO F*CKING RIGHT! lol, I imagined the nerf Revonix360 perfectly and how it works! I however thought that the barrel would be in the middle of the cylinder but this method moves the disks up from the cylinder up to the barrel and rotates. The new colors for the vortex line are great and I love the bow and hand bow.

    1. Majority of the Mod community agreed the best would be a detachable barrel at the stock end. This is what was modelled accordingly.

Any plans on how you would go about modding the stuff? Any plans to look at say xbow pistols?

  8. I am excited for the blazn' bow because it looks to be a direct reincarnation of the original nerf Bow n Arrow.

  9. Regarding vortex, Lumitron gone maybe now that the FF clip is a separate purchase and the Praxis is getting a repaint? Still no 20 round (Nitron) mags for sale? That one would seem like a no-brainer.
